About

The Houston Cinema Arts Festival is a film festival dedicated to commemorating the various works of Wes Anderson, while providing an in-depth experience of Anderson’s early life, education, and debut as a director and filmmaker.

Wes Anderson is known for bringing nostalgia to life through his distinctive visual and narrative directing style. The main focus of the design was driven by the need to create a seamless experience for the user by allowing them to easily navigate between pages of the website in order to increase the chance of them being persuaded to purchase tickets to attend the event.

User Journey

The goal was to create a website product that informed the target audience about the festival and provide a closer look into Wes Anderson’s film career. As well as creating a cinematic journey through the website that ends with a ticket purchase to the festival.

My solution to addressing the goals focused on creating a seamless navigation experience through the different pages of the website by creating a system of buttons that allow for an easy navigation experience through the multiple pages of the site. Inevitably, this system leads the user to the ticket purchasing page of the site.
